Co-Chairs Anne Stockdale and Juliane Morris are thrilled about this year’s wine tasting and believe it is going to be one for the history books!
Our theme says it all: Pour It Forward.
For 100 years, Coronado Rotary has poured its time, resources, generosity, and heart into our community—and into important causes around the world, especially the fight to end polio.
This event is our opportunity to continue that extraordinary legacy while celebrating our Club’s centennial year together.
So please mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Pour It Forward will take place in the beautiful courtyard at Christ Church. It is a wonderful outdoor setting for an evening filled with exceptional wines, delicious food, friendship, music, and generosity.
And let’s talk about the food.
We are delighted to have Blue Bridge Hospitality catering the evening with elevated bites designed to pair beautifully with the wines. Honestly, the food alone may be worth the price of admission!
We are also planning a few very special surprises—things you have never seen at a Coronado Rotary event before. You are going to want to be there to see them for yourselves!
Tickets will go on sale at the end of August, so start thinking now about the friends, neighbors, family members, and prospective Rotarians you would like to bring.
This will be an unforgettable evening of great wine, wonderful company, and an even greater purpose.
The purpose behind Pour It Forward is especially meaningful this year because the proceeds will support two extraordinary causes.
The first is Rotary PolioPlus, continuing our Club’s long and determined commitment to eradicating polio worldwide.
The second is Safe Harbor Coronado, which provides vital support and resources for young people and families right here in our community.
As many of you know, Coronado Rotary has been a powerhouse in the fight against polio. Over the years, our Club has contributed an incredible $1.7 million toward eradication efforts.
Now, during our centennial year, we are setting our sights through Pour It Forward to raise remarkable contributions from our Club as we continue to participate in Rotary’s International support of addressing global health issues surrounding Polio and the efforts of PolioPlus. We are hosting a Silent Auction, Live Auction and Community Auction online, filled with generous and exciting donations from so many.
If *you* would like to donate anything, please let us know by emailing Kelly Kindorf. It could be a vacation getaway, a memorable experience, a special treasure, a professional service, a restaurant package, or something else that will inspire enthusiastic bidding.
This is our opportunity to make Coronado Rotary’s 100th year count in another powerful and lasting way.
Together, let’s fill the courtyard, make bids, raise our paddles, clink our glasses, and Pour It Forward—for a polio-free world and for stronger, healthier young people and families here at home.

We will of course be hosting the Silent Auction, Live Auction, Opportunity Drawing and Raise The Paddle at the event on October 3, as well as an online Community Auction, and we appreciate ALL the support in advanced pledges. Early pledges are especially important. They allow us to build momentum, plan responsibly and share exciting progress updates as we work together toward this year’s big goal during our Club’s very big year.
Advance campaign donors will be recognized at the Wine Tasting event and in its print and digital programs at the following levels:

Reserve Vintage — $25,000+
Includes four Wine Tasting event tickets
Grand Cru — $20,000+
Includes four Wine Tasting event tickets
At the Press — $10,000+
Includes two Wine Tasting event tickets
First Pour — $5,000+
Uncorked — $1,000+
In the Barrel — $500+
Young Vine — $100+
Contributions of every amount will help us move closer to our goal. Contributions at the $1000+ levels are invited to designate their giving at any split level between Rotary’s PolioPlus and End Polio Now and Safe Harbor Coronado (e.g., 100% to one; 75/25%, 50/50%, etc.). Polio was once one of the most feared childhood diseases, affecting tens of thousands of people every year. Thanks to the incredible efforts of organizations like Rotary International and the dedication of volunteers around the world, we have made significant progress towards eradicating this devastating disease.
However, we still have a long way to go to ensure that all children have access to life-saving vaccinations.
